Hanami is the Japanese very traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers and most of the case, the word is used for cherry blossom. In Japan, cherry blossoms symbolize clouds due to their nature of blooming, besides being an enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life.
