For our clients’ participations, we attended the briefings of “Japan IT Week Spring” and “CEATEC Japan” this week. Both briefings were almost full of attendees and exhibit spaces for “Japan IT Week Spring” were almost sold out.

As for “CEATEC Japan”, application entry starts mid. Feb. and it is expected that over 660 companies will exhibit at this show. In 2016, “CEATEC JAPAN” was transformed, becoming a brand new comprehensive exhibition that transcends the framework of the consumer electronics show. It is now a global showcase for Japan’s growth strategies and vision of the ultra-smart community of the future. Over 150,000 people are expected to come to “CEATEC Japan” this year!! The theme of the show is “Connecting Society, Co-Creating the Future” and there will be “IoT Town”, a special exhibit area for advanced user companies and “Start-up & University area” for start-up companies and universities.

“Embedded Technology 2017” was held at Pacifico Yokohama from Nov.15-17, 2017. Same as “Embedded Systems Tokyo (ESEC)”, we provided support with the booth construction for Vector Software Japan. They are the leading provider of dynamic automated test tools “VectorCAST” for embedded software applications. Their presentation stage was popular with visitors and they even increased the no. of stages at the final exhibition day.

Many booths use fabric materials for booth decoration?!

FOODEX JAPAN 2016 was held at Makuhari Messe on Mar.8th to Mar.11th.

Each country had different idea for booth design but many used fabric materials for booth sign and decoration. It could become common in the future?

  

We went to TOKYO MARATHON EXPO 2016 to provide some support to one of our clients. There were more 110,000 visitors including 37,000 runners and volunteers, the running is a booming hobby here in Japan!

Our client, “Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)” had their own booth at this expo and throughout the entire expo period, they run a campaign called “Run for Médecins Sans Frontières” using twitters. Widely spreading their activities to the people is one of their important tasks.

About The TOKYO MARATHON EXPO

This is not an expo only for the 37,000 runners from all over Japan and around the world who come to register for the TOKYO MARATHON. Wireless Japan 2014 was held at Tokyo Big Sight during May 28-30, 2014.  Wireless Japan is the one of the largest shows in Japan for Wireless related technology/services.

For the very first time at the tradeshow, visitors had a chance to experience “beacon” demo (“beacon” is the device that was designed to attract people’s attention to specific locations).  At Wireless Japan, beacons were placed at over 50 booths/locations to send booth information to smartphones. The booth information is automatically displayed on the smartphone when the visitor comes close to the booth/location. This “beacon” demo was the key exhibit at Wireless Japan this year.

A couple of our clients had their booths at Wireless Japan 2014. We provided our support with their booth management & design, operation, panel production, flyers (translation & printing), novelty production etc. One of them has their office only in Canada, so we communicated directly with their marketing division in Canada for the booth decoration, panel and flyer production.
