First time ever, Wearable Tech Expo was held in Tokyo from Mar. 25-26, 2014.  The wearable technology and its industry are glowing over the last several years and very first time in Japan, this expo (exhibition & conference) was held at Tokyo Midtown, Tokyo. There are 9 sponsors in total and many of them exhibited their wearble devices such as healthcare gadgets, smart watches and toys. Particulally “Ring” (BT Smart* “short-cut” device designed by Logbar) and “Moff”(BT smart* toy by Moff) draw attention from many visitors and introduced on TV and many online sites. *BT Smart: Bluetooth Smart Technolgy

RetailTech Japan 2014 was held at Tokyo Big Sight during Mar.4-7, 2014. RetailTech Japan is the biggest and most influential exhibition in Japan that are focusing on the retail information system. This show covers all the retail technology including Point-of-Sale registers to head-office systems, in-store promotion devices, RFID / IC tags, backyard system and logistics.

PV Expo (held inside World Smart Energy Week)  , Japan’s largest exhibition and conference for PV industry was held in Feb. 26 – Feb.28 at Tokyo Big Sight. This exhibition first held back in 2008 has been expanding year by year and there were as many as 57,216 visitors and over 1,400 exhibitors this year (2014).
