Solutions

Our office is located in Tokyo, and we have been supporting the business of foreign companies in succeeding in the Japanese market for over 20 years. We provide you with the proposals for exhibitions, promotions, and PR that are most suited to your company.

You are not sure which exhibition is most effective for your company

We provide you with proposals for exhibitions that are most suited to your products and solutions by clarifying your targets and objectives.

A budget is limited

We will make the best use of your limited budget by providing you with proposals for cost-effective exhibition displays related to promotions and PR.

No time to deal with exhibition organizers or contractors

We will be your contact for exhibition organizers & contractors and will communicate with them on your behalf. Sit back and relax as we deal with all the detailed formalities, procedures, and applications.

Leave certain tasks to us, such as creating panels, catalogues, advertising, novelties, and speciality items for exhibition display, along with the placement of advertisements and conducting exhibitions. We provide comprehensive support services.

You wish to build a relationship with Japanese media at an exhibition

We have a very strong connection with the Japanese media. Our support extends to the distribution of news releases to Japanese media outlets, interviews with the media, and press conferences.

Work

Adding that “extra something” to your promotion is the key to a successful exhibition.

Foreign Company A (a semiconductor manufacturer):

This company currently operates in Japan with a small workforce. They consulted us to promote their new product, and we advised them to display it at Wireless Japan, an exhibition that exclusively specializes in mobile/wireless products, as Company A’s target customers are communication equipment/device designers and engineers.
Although their exhibition display area was small, as the budget from their headquarters was not substantial, we promoted this product by adding that “extra something” to their exhibition display.

Distribution of press releases/media interviews

We distributed a press release for their new product announcement, as well as for end products using the new product, on the first day of the event.
During the event, we conducted one-on-one media interviews with three different media outlets, and the contents of these interviews were listed on online sites for engineers.

Company B’s (Company A’s partner) news releases

We requested that Company B, which is a major production company of mobile content, announce through a news release that Company A’s new product module is used for Company B’s health care product. This health care product was also prominently displayed at Company A’s booth, for which a large number of customers had specifically come in order to see it.

Technical seminars

In a small booth, space is insufficient when holding a presentation on technology for visitors. As such, we advised them to participate in technical seminars held by the event organizer within the exhibition venue. Running seminars enables a client to pass on their technical product information to visitors at an even deeper level.

Setting up a Facebook page

Since their website was only in English as established by headquarters, we suggested that they set up a Facebook page, urgently considering that creating their website in Japanese means cost and time. They were able to make an announcement for their exhibition, introduce their articles in each media outlet, and relay their exhibition content in a timely way through the use of Facebook.

In addition to the above, we advised them on how to display their products and what products to display. Our adding that “extra something” to their promotion attracted many people to the exhibition display, which then led to them gaining good customers who are now actively considering introducing their products. Company A’s staff, who are responsible for operations in Japan, and the marketing executives at their headquarters gave us extremely positive feedback regarding our exhibition work.

As the exhibition was successful, we are currently working on the next exhibition and the hosting of their own seminars, which will run from the end of 2013 to 2014, as well as on the creation of their website in Japanese.

An exhibition venue is the best place to hold media interviews and press conferences.
Company B (U.S. PR agency):

At the world largest comprehensive exhibition for semiconductor production equipment and materials—the SEMICON Japan exhibition—we provided our PR support service to four separate companies that are Company B’s U.S. clients.

As Company B does not have any connections with specialized media outlets in Japan, we stepped in and chose targeted media for each of their clients and conducted individual interviews at each company’s booth at the SEMICON Japan.

Company B and Company B’s clients gave us positive feedback, as a large number of articles appeared in Japanese media outlets that specialize in semiconductors (newspapers or magazines) as well as online.

As reporters from specialized media outlets come and gather at exhibitions, interviews can be done by drawing those reporters to your booth even if some media outlets are normally hard to arrange an interview with.

Another benefit of exhibitions is that many media outlets have a features page for exhibitions, and your interviews thus have a great chance of being used in their article.

There is nothing to worry about even if you have neither any specialized connections with Japanese specialized media outlets nor knowledge about the Japanese market or even any activities within Japan, as we can, and will, provide you with support services for PR activities in Japan by using the best choice of media and promotions by thinking strategically how you and your message can reach your targeted customers.
